Carnival Baltimore Cruises 2011

The itineraries of various vessels operating from the east coast of the United States have changed this weekend to avoid Hurricane Irene. On Friday, while reached the Carolinas, the storm began to Category 2,with winds of over 155 km / h.

Meanwhile, the ships that are already further south are canceling stops at the islands of private companies in the Bahamas, and CocoCay,Royal Caribbean, and Great Stirrup Cay,Norwegian Cruise Line.

This is because the hurricane caused impacts in the region after its passage there.Celebrity Cruises,Norwegian Cruise Line,Princess Cruises and Holland America Line, had to change some of their itineraries with departures from New York,New Jersey and Boston.

Ships like the Norwegian Gem,Norwegian Jewel,Norwegian Sky had to modify their routes, canceling scales, and spending more time on other ports to avoid the hurricane. The Norwegian Dawn, which is also in the region, did not need to change your previously scheduled programming.

The Summit (photo),the Celebrity, remain in Bermuda, returning to New Jersey,a day later than planned,on Monday.

Already Holland America, which has two ships in the region said output Veendam Bermuda,to New York, where he will face the hurricane, where the ship will depart on Sunday or Tuesday. But the script of another ship in the area, the Maasdam, remains unchanged.

The Princess,Caribbean is the only region in the vessel streamline their shipping operations and leave New York a few hours ahead of schedule, sailing west of the storm,to avoid the worst of the hurricane. The Caribbean Princess will lose because of the changes scale in Saint John,New England.

The Carnival that has only the Carnival Pride (pictured) in the region opted for two trips shorten your ship to avoid inconvenience to its passengers. The current journey that would end tomorrow, was closed today, and tomorrow we begin, begin only on Tuesday.Passengers who embark on that day in Baltimore,Maryland, will receive a refund equivalent to a cruise one day.

Our family of four is wanting to take a cruise trip to either the Caribbean or the bahamas from baltimore maryland probably through carnival. We would like to go in either june or july of 2010 or 2011. When would be the best time to buy tickets? Should we buy them very early or buy them a week or so before we plan on going??
